ColorStack Member
New York, NY
After being accepted into ColorStack, a supportive community for Black and Latinx computer science students, I became committed to helping bridge the gap for underrepresented students in tech. As a member, I attend events, workshops, and networking sessions that provide insights into the tech industry and career development. I also actively share resources, such as coding platforms, internship opportunities, and interview prep tools, that have personally helped me grow. My goal is to uplift others in the community by offering guidance, encouragement, and strategies for succeeding in tech, and by helping to create a more inclusive and diverse industry. - Y
Yale University Hackathon

I recently participated in a hackathon at Yale University, where my team and I won 1st place in the Education Track! We developed a program called SlideForge, an innovative solution designed to enhance educational experiences. Collaborating with talented developers, I had the chance to push my limits, learn new skills, and create an impactful project that addressed real-world challenges. I am incredibly proud of what we accomplished, and I'm excited to continue building on this momentum. - C
Codedex Hackathon
Remote
This was my first hackathon experience, where I had the opportunity to collaborate with two talented peers who were equally new to the environment. We gained invaluable insights into collaborative coding and teamwork. My primary responsibilities included developing the Three.js model and the Event page. The hackathon was an excellent learning opportunity, and I am eager to participate in more hackathons in the future to continue working with other innovative and skilled individuals.
